Our mission

NikahLink exists to make the search for a spouse simpler, safer, and more aligned with Islamic values. We believe finding a life partner should be a dignified, transparent process — guided by the Qur'an and Sunnah, supported by family, and free from the pressures of modern dating apps.

We built this platform for serious Muslims who want to marry, not date. Every feature reflects that intention: verified profiles, Wali involvement, moderated conversations, and a clear path from first contact to nikah.

What makes us different

1. Wali involvement by design

Sisters can appoint a Wali during profile creation. Their guardian is notified when an interest arrives, can be present in the supervised meeting, and can be given read access to conversations. This isn't an afterthought — it's built into every step.

2. No photos by default

Your privacy is protected. Profiles show initials only. Photos are never displayed publicly and are not part of the matchmaking flow. Meeting in person, with a mahram present, replaces photo browsing.

3. Structured conversations

Every chat is moderated. Phone numbers, emails, social handles, and even digits are blocked. 20 pre-written starter questions help you begin respectful conversations about deen, family, children, finances, and long-term goals — without the awkwardness and without pressure.

4. Supervised video meetings

When both parties are ready, we host a video-only meeting with a Wali or coach present. No microphone. No free chat. A fixed session length. After the meeting, both sides give structured feedback before proceeding.

5. A clear path to nikah

Interest → mutual match → chat → meeting → engagement. No shortcuts, no endless messaging, no ambiguity. Every stage has a purpose.

How it works

1. Create your account. Verify your email and phone.
2. Build your profile. Add personal, religious, education, and intention details. Sisters add a Wali.
3. Admin review. Every profile is manually reviewed before appearing in search.
4. Search and express interest. Found someone suitable? Send a respectful expression of interest.
5. Mutual match. If they accept, chat unlocks — with predefined questions and moderated text.
6. Propose a meeting. Choose a date, time, and place — with your Wali invited.
7. Supervised video meeting. Meet face to face with a Wali present, video-only.
8. Engagement. When both sides are ready, confirm khitbah and take the next step with family.
